Details:

IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) and QUIDD have signed an R&D agreement to automate imaging processing and analysis in the field of optical molecular imaging. The challenge is to develop robust experimental procedures and calculation methods  to improve the quality of images and measurements of areas of interest (ie: Tumors) to provide a service or more efficient processes in preclinical optical molecular imaging. The partnership Quidd / IFPEN covers the automated processing and analysis of 2D and 3D images. The research aims to develop algorithm-driven software for analysis to make more accurate measurements from 2D and 3D images. It also aims to develop transposition procedures directly on the 3D profile of the living organism. This partnership is set up as part of the technological support provided by IFPEN  to help SMEs to develop their innovations. In this case, IFPEN will mobilize its scientific expertise in processing and image analysis.
