* On February 20, 2014, ATMI has announced it has completed the sale of ATMI LifeSciences to Pall Corporation. The transaction includes all assets associated with the LifeSciences business. Cash proceeds from the transaction are approximately $185 million , subject to customary post-closing working capital adjustments. ATMI will report an after-tax gain during the first quarter of 2014 related to this transaction of approximately $68 million . The ATMI LifeSciences portfolio acquired by Pall encompasses custom-engineered, flexible packaging solutions, single-use storage systems, mixers and bioreactors for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. This includes well-known brands such as Integrity® single-use technologies and Newform ultra clean sterile packaging.
* On December 23, 2013, ATMI, a global technology company and leader in single-use bioprocess solutions, has announced that it has reached agreement with Pall Corporation to sell ATMI LifeSciences in a transaction valued at $185 million. The transaction includes all assets associated with the LifeSciences business, including two locations in Belgium plus a shared facility in Minnesota. ATMI expects the transaction to close during the first quarter of 2014, subject to applicable regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. After tax cash proceeds from the transaction are expected to be approximately $165 million .
