- • On July 4 2017, Sagetis Biotech announced that it has expanded its Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) with the appointment of Dr. Ramon Alemany. Dr. Alemany is an internationally recognized expert in oncolytic adenoviruses for cancer treatment. He has more than 80 original publications and numerous patents in the fields of Gene Therapy and Virotherapy. From 1994 to 2001, Dr. Alemany held various research positions in USA at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX), Baxter Healthcare (Round Lake, IL), and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He established the Virotherapy Group at the Translational Research Laboratory of the Institut Català d'Oncologia in 2001.
