- • On July 25, 2017, Takeda Pharmaceutical and BioSurfaces announced that they have entered into an agreement to initiate a research program designed to develop innovative medical devices to treat patients with gastrointestinal diseases using BioSurfaces’ proprietary nanomaterial technology.
