Details: * On July 22, 2014, THERAMetrics announced that the company has entered into a non-binding agreement for a business combination with Intelligent Pharma, a Spain-based company developing and commercializing computational technologies for drug discovery. Intelligent Pharma employs top-notch computational chemistry and advanced software development solutions for the identification of new active compounds and determination of mechanism of action, in silico-aided chemical hit to lead optimization including toxicological predictions and solving physicochemical problems, in order to establish highly valuable pharmacological drug profiles. In combination with THERAMetrics’ bio-mathematical drug repurposing and repositioning system DRR2.0, employing semantic browsing of literature for finding causal and fully unbiased, non-trivial correlations and relationships between drugs, molecular targets, pathways and diseases, significant additional value can be created with the aim to expand the horizons of Research and Development in the pharma and biotech industry.
